Provo City School District Seismic Study

Dunn Associates, Inc. performed a thorough seismic evaluation of twelve district schools utilizing ASCE 31 and ASCE 41 criteria. Utilizing an interactive approach throughout the project, all study and evaluation activities were coordinated with the District’s Seismic Committee. The engineering team developed an incremental evaluation approach that saved the district forty-thousand dollars, and oversaw the development of a 10-year Master Plan that addressed the seismic inadequacies for future retrofit, upgrade, and reconstruction.
