At Dunn Associates, Inc., we believe that safe schools should be the number one priority for all of us. We understand that education budgets and schedules can be tight, so we work hard to respect those things. As such, we utilize alternative construction materials and work diligently to appreciate the intent for the spaces we design.
Warehouse Design
Warehousing & distribution is one faction of design that Dunn is very passionate about. We have a separate division that is solely focused on finding efficient and cost-effective solutions. They are experts on providing panel embed elevations with dimensions, optimizing column bay spacing input, and maintaining an open dialog with construction team.

We know how to design both high-rise and low-rise construction, and we have an understanding of efficient structural designs. Thanks to our home in Utah, we know how to design in mountain regions, but we are not limited to this terrain. We are agile when it comes to our hospitality design skills and we are experts in alternative building materials.

Recreation & Leisure Design
Recreation centers create unique engineering challenges due to the varied needs of each space, but Dunn engineers are always up for the challenge. We have worked on numerous case studies and previous designs. Our resume includes a wide range of experience, including: pool recreation facilities, gymnasiums and aerobic spaces, rock climbing and high vaulted spaces, bowling alleys and skating rinks, movie theaters and gaming centers, shooting ranges, amusement rides, auditoriums, basketball courts, and much more.

Parking Garages are designed by a specialty department within Dunn Associates. We know how to alternate cast-in-place, Post-Tension, and pre-cast design solutions. Utilizing our wide design experience and knowledge of multiple systems, functionality is maintained while costs are minimized for those buildings of necessity.
Public Facilities Design
At Dunn Associates, Inc., we believe the design of public facilities represents one of the greatest opportunities for an engineer to touch the lives of fellow citizens. We understand occupancy and operational design considerations, including ATFP solutions and Progressive Collapse. As it is often requested by municipalities, we strive for sustainability and work with our in-house LEED accredited professionals.

Our skills include optimizing framing systems for efficient structural layout and we believe in strict vibration control for sensitive lab functions.
