Young Living Essential Oils Global Headquarters

The Young Living Essential Oils Headquarters project is one of a kind. The moment frame structure is laid out with two radial grid systems, which leaves this project with only 4 straight lines. This 263,000-sq-ft, 5-story building boasts office space, lab and R&D space, a museum, fitness center, full service kitchen to house nearly 1,000 employees and many visitors. The heart of the structure is a large center court that features a three-story waterfall, irrigated walls with living plants, and an immaculate domed skylight to top it off.

Young Living wanted this building to be designed to a higher standard. It was designed to forces from a seismic event higher than required by the code by 25%. This will allow the building to perform better in an earthquake.
